The Industrialist Businesswomen and Businessmen Confederation (SANKON) and 54 countries in the African continent announced that the 2020 economic target is 15 billion dollars. SANKON, which has its headquarters in Ankara, representatives and member companies in Arab states, African states, Central Asian Turkish states and European states, has made great contributions to the economy between 100 world states and Turkey by holding international economic cooperation conferences. SANKON which has the distinction of being one of Turkey’s largest non-governmental international economic organizations, it is now preparing to take a series of steps to improve economic cooperation with states in the African continent. SANKON Vice President Orhan Beşiktepe said in a statement he made about the subject, “SANKON Headquarters in the past years, in order to contribute to economic and commercial relations between Turkey and African countries, with the support and contribution of our Republic of Turkey government and with the organization of African States Embassies in Ankara, it has cooperated with 54 states in the African continent. Delegations of businessmen and businesswomen have signed cooperation protocols with chambers of commerce, chambers of industry and economic non-governmental organizations in the African countries they visit, within the knowledge of governments. 54 businessmen and business women delegation of African countries was hosted in Turkey. SANKON, will continue to make international economic cooperation conferences and cooperation between Turkey and 54 African countries. As SANKON board of directors, we divided the African Continent into 5 regions. We have determined that the Regional Presidency for West African Countries in Dakar, the Capital of the Republic of Senegal, Regional Presidency of East African Countries in Kampala, the Capital of the Republic of Uganda, Regional Presidency of North African Countries in Rabat, the Capital of the Kingdom of Morocco, Regional Presidency of South African Countries in Johannesburg, the Capital of the Republic of South Africa and Regional Presidency for Central African Countries in Encemine, the Capital of the Republic of Chad. ” he said. – İSTANBUL
